We invite you to join the Arzinger team for the Associate position in Tax & Customs Litigation Practice.
Responsibilities:
- advising clients on tax and customs issues arising at the Ukrainian and international levels;
- research on various Ukrainian law legal matters;
- drafting necessary documents (memoranda, legal opinions, agreements, position papers, claims, motions, appeals, etc.);
- interacting with state authorities, participation in court hearings as requested;
- PR activity (publications, comments, conferences etc.);
- monitoring legislative changes and court practice;
- general legal support for projects of the practice.

Requirements:
- degree in Law or International Law from a top tier University;
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a top-tier law firm or as an in-house lawyer (preferably in the agricultural sector);
- attorney’s license is a must;
- knowledge and understanding of Ukrainian tax, customs, commercial law;
- excellent knowledge of Ukrainian criminal & administrative procedure codes;
- upper-intermediate English is obligatory;
- previous experience with agricultural sector will be a strong advantage;
- proficient drafting of analytical, procedural and commercial documents;
- high level of presentation, time management, prioritization;
- ability to work with extensive information volumes in short terms under high pressure;
- strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.
