VACANCY FOR DRIVER
EMERGENCY NGO — PRIMARY HEALTH CARE CLINICS
Duration: until March 31st, 2025 (renewal is subject to performance evaluation and funds availability).
Location: Office based near Lozova, transfers are currently expected mainly within the Donetsk Oblast. Travels to/from Dnipro and surrounding areas will be planned according to the project’s needs.
Working hours: full time.

POSITION: Driver
REPORTING TO: Country Logistician, Field Logistician and Field Logistician Officer
SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
- Driver plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s operations by providing timely, safe, and secure transportation of personnel and goods

RESPONSIBILITIES
The driver is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Driving EMERGENCY cars in a safe way, according to the Ukrainian laws and to the instructions received by EMERGENCY Country Logistician, Field Logistician and Field Logistician Officer;
- Regularly servicing and keeping in order official vehicles;
- Taking account of all available information on road conditions, accessible routes and locations;

- The driver provides passenger transport using Emergency NGO official cars for staff and good according to the needs of the projects and in compliance with the Organization SOPs and regulations, following strictly the Logistics staff’s instructions;
- Service and maintenance
- The driver ensures the regular cleaning (both interior and exterior) of the vehicle (s);
- Regularly checks the vehicle (s) status and inform the Logistics department regarding the needs for service
- The driver performs minor maintenance tasks as needed.
- Security
- Liaises with governmental authorities as necessary and follow the required procedures.
- Reporting:
- · The driver assists with the documentation and reporting related to vehicles, including Car logbook, recording maintenance activities and reporting any safety accidents.

In general, she/he is responsible for all the activities and services related to the above-mentioned tasks and he works in close cooperation with, and under the direct supervision of, the Field Coordinator, theCountry Logistician and the Field Logistician.
- MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
- Valid Driving License;
- Knowledge of car maintenance and service.
- Basic knowledge of English

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
The role requires high level of care for the assigned equipment, attention, punctuality, respect for the rules and a basic level of English knowledge.
