The Cloud Operations Engineer will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS and Azure environments. The ideal candidate should be experienced in basic support of EC2/Compute in AWS and Azure, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have strong experience in working with documentation and installation of various sets of applications.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring of the cloud infrastructure, deploying and monitoring cloud services, and ensuring the high availability of cloud systems. Fixing monitoring related issues during the daily operations The successful candidate will be a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 1−2 years of experience in basic cloud operations. Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator Associate, or other Microsoft certificates are a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and proactive care for company and customers related services.
- Tracking all activity in the ticketing system according to company service level agreement (SLA).
- Using and updating a knowledge base for other team members
- Assist in deploying new systems for new clusters or extending existing server farms using automation scripts
- Proficient usage of various tools and services at administrator level that is necessary for daily operations.
- experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group policies, RDS and DNS services.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Desired 1+ years of experience in supporting and managing on premise Microsoft infrastructure (including servers).
- Basic understanding and knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including Azure, AWS
- Experience with ITIL processes best practices and following strong SLA policies in ticketing system
- Hands on practice or theoretical knowledge about Microsoft Active Directory, group policies, RDS and DNS services
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft servers ecosystem
- Basic knowledge of networking technologies, including endpoint firewalls, TCP/IP stack, core services like DNS, DHCP.
- Expertise in implementing automation processes (powershell scripts, batch, reg files)
- Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot fault-tolerant infrastructure and applications
- Ability to work and participate in team activities (including audio, video calls as necessary) during US East Coast (EST) working hours with partial flexibility to cover other time zones if necessary (160 hours/month in total).
