Working hours: 16.00 — 01.00, Monday — Friday About the role: An Accounting Specialist is a professional responsible for managing a company’s accounts payable function. This role is critical in maintaining a company’s financial stability and ensuring that its financial obligations to vendors and suppliers are met in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving, reviewing, and processing invoices from vendors and suppliers
- Receive and process payments from customers, which may include checks, credit card payments, electronic funds transfers, or other payment methods.
- Communicate with customers to follow up on outstanding payments, answer their queries, and resolve payment disputes or discrepancies.
- Ensuring that invoices are accurate, match purchase orders and receiving documents, and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining positive relationships with vendors, address inquiries and issues, and handle vendor payment-related matters.
- Scheduling and processing payments to vendors.

Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in trucking as an Accounting Specialist (at least 6 months)
- Good English skills (conversational level)
- Strong organizational skills are crucial for managing and maintaining a large volume of invoices and records.
- Basic accounting knowledge is necessary to understand financial statements, journal entries, and the broader financial context.
- Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet applications is typically required.
- The ability to manage time effectively and meet payment deadlines is critical.
