Production Manager

Currently, Peikko Ukraine (a subsidiary of Peikko Group) is looking for a Production Manager to join us in our Ukraine office in Kyiv, to focus on producing Peikko products, such as concrete connections and composite structures.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Assign production tasks to ensure that production specifications are met;
- Maintain daily production records of shift so that manufacturing performance and quality are met
- Supervision and control of shift workers and produced products
- To meet product quality requirements
- Enforces proper safety standards and practises;
- Takes care of work well-being
- To ensure Blue Collar competence.
- Evaluating, developing and motivating the management of a team of production managers
- Analysis of the operation of factory processes, proposals for solutions, organization of their implementation
- Checks and ensures that all factory workers work according to the requirements of the implemented integrated management systems (IIR: ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 3834, ISO 17660)
- Ensuring product quality, analyzing non-conformities and taking preventive measures. It is necessary to ensure the preparation of quality documentation on time and in good quality
- Considering the needs and requests of customers in the production processes
- Ensures timely preparation of all necessary documentation (work schedule, vacation plans, various requests, etc.)
- Continuous development of production processes according to the LEAN system;
- Ensures that all workplaces are monitored, audited and evaluated (5S)
- Participation in efficiency improvement and quality and safety improvement projects
- Organization of and participation in meetings and trainings (production, occupational health and safety, quality, LEAN, etc.)
- Collaboration with managers of other factories to optimize all production resources (raw materials, employees, equipment, etc.)
- Checking the efficient use of energy sources, gas, air, raw materials and auxiliary materials, devices. Look for ways to reduce operating costs.
- Perform other tasks agreed with the management within his/her field of competence

- Technical education
- Experience in supervisor’s role in the production environment
- Basic knowledge from metal processing industry
- Experience for modern production management system
- English language skills B1 and high
- Knowledge of the production process, technology and standards of metal products
- Reading technical drawings
- Computer skills (MS Office environment)
- Working with a company management system
- Use of QlikView, RS reports, M-Files, IMS, data systems
- Working according to the LEAN system
- Organizational competences, responsibility, communication
- Leadership skills
