JOB DESCRIPTION
Paybis, a leading cryptocurrency exchange company, is currently looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with experience in manual testing of backend systems, with a particular focus on API testing.
As a Junior QA Engineer at Paybis, you will work closely with our development team to ensure the quality of our platform. You will be responsible for executing test cases, reporting defects, and verifying bug fixes. You will also be responsible for maintaining test documentation and ensuring that our testing processes are efficient and effective.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct functional and regression testing of UI for client applications.
- Create and maintain test documentation: test cases, checklists, bug reports.
- Collaborate with the development team to discuss requirements, identify bugs, and prioritize them.
- Perform testing on various devices and browsers (cross-browser and cross-platform testing).
- Use Developer Tools to analyze application behavior and identify issues.
- Participate in UI test automation (optional, if you have the knowledge and willingness to grow in this direction).
- Maintain high-quality user interfaces, identify, and document usability issues.

REGUIREMENTS:
- Basic knowledge of testing theory (types of testing, bug lifecycle).
- Experience with test management tools and bug-tracking systems (JIRA, Allure TestOps, or similar).
- Ability to use Developer Tools (inspector, console, network) for issue analysis and diagnostics.
- Understanding of client-server architecture principles.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify issues in UI and functionality.
- Willingness to work in a team and grow under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
- English level: Intermediate or higher (ability to communicate with colleagues and read technical documentation).

Nice to have:
- Experience in fintech or an interest in cryptocurrencies.
- Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Knowledge of the basics of test automation (e.g., using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles.
