We are looking for an experienced system and network administrator to maintain and evolve our network. From a hardware, software, and network point of view, you’ll be responsible for 15 (and increasing) machines.
You’ll also be responsible for leading projects to make our systems more efficient by putting in place a backup system, new network infrastructure, mounting new state-of-the-art hardware, and remote work systems.
Responsibilities
- Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade powerful computers
- Learn, understand, and standardize our software ecosystem
- Install and integrate new server and computer hardware and applications
- Keep an eye out for needed updates
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Support team members remotely to debug system problems
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance and security
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Resolve issues reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration

Requirements
- Proven experience in a network administrator role
- Hands-on experience in networking, hardware, and software management
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
- Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking
- Knowledge of rendering software (3DS Max backburner) is a big plus
- English: intermediate
- Knowledge of the Adobe suite or any transverse skills can be a plus
