Key Account Manager (KAM)

Role Overview: The Key Account Manager is accountable for managing and expanding strategic accounts
within the brand. This role entails establishing robust relationships with key clients, comprehending their
requirements, and ensuring the brand’s products and designs align with those needs. The KAM will
collaborate closely with internal Marketing, Design, and Miracle Creation teams to synchronize strategies
and attain sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management:
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring a profound understanding
of their business needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between Malva Florea and our top-tier clients, providing exceptional
communication, service, and support to ensure continuous improvement of mutual interaction.• Send out invitations, follow-ups, look-bucks, and draft customized order forms, create stand-out offers
for strategic accounts.
- Strive for flawless execution of Malva Florea’s in-store presence, maintain optimal brand availability at
customers' stores, and streamline the order intake process for seamless transactions.
- Engage in gathering customer feedback on brand collections, conducting needs and volumes assessment
of current clients in line with market trends, and assembling a portfolio of requests for the Design
Department.
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute short-term strategies to drive profitable business growth with key accounts while
delivering comprehensive client services throughout the sales cycle.
- Anticipate commercial opportunities, it is imperative to diligently monitor the market environment
and the dynamics of strategic directions, accounts, and fashion influencers.
- Empower customers through outstanding post-sales services, acquiring valuable sales data from the
accounts, and generating new sales opportunities through reliable partnerships.
- Proactively seek new clients to onboard that align with Malva Florea’s brand values and expand the
brand geography.
Brand Representation and Merchandising:
- Ensure the attendance to accounts, stakeholders, and fashion events is prioritized to showcase new
collections and exclusive pieces effectively. Additionally, provide educational sessions to enhance brand
loyalty.
- Engage in close collaboration with clients for the purpose of developing customized merchandising
strategies that mirror the brand’s opulent image and propel sales forward.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Facilitate negotiations of delivery terms, pricing, and contract conditions with key accounts to establish
mutually beneficial agreements that align with Malva Florea’s business objectives.
- Oversight of contract compliance and payments, along with resolution of any discrepancies or issues
that may arise.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, design, and product development, to align
strategies and ensure the seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure timely delivery and exceptional client service.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Examine sales data, market trends, and activities while coordinating collections delivery schedules by
industry standards to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Produce regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market conditions according to
internal document protocols.
Client Experience and Satisfaction:
- Deliver a personalized and high-touch client experience, resolving issues or concerns promptly and
effectively according to core brand values.
- Organize and participate in exclusive events, trunk shows, and fashion shows to engage with key clients
and showcase Malva Florea’s collections.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.• Demonstrated 5+ years experience as a Key Account Manager or Sales Manager in the luxury fashion
industry.
- Profound understanding of the luxury market, high-net-worth consumer buyer’s behavior, and fashion
trends.
- Proficiency in assimilating and using a substantial amount of product information and industry
knowledge to address customer inquiries and secure sales.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to analyze data and market trends for making informed business decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (only if required).
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events as necessary.
- Proficient in English.
