About the role
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team and work on innovative solutions for a leading payment technology provider. In this role, you will focus on upgrading, optimizing, and adding features to current web applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and secure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Node.js and a strong background in web development for financial technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js;
- Use basic Linux command line tools knowledge for server management, deployment, and automation tasks;
- Manage and optimize relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet high performance and security standards.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming and working with MVC frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js, Typescript.
- Familiarity with modern XHTML/HTML/HTML5/CSS standards.
- Proven experience in database design and optimized SQL queries.
- 2+ years of experience with Linux/Ubuntu.
- 1+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Previous experience working in Agile teams.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL database design and basic administration.
- Experience with React.js, or other JavaScript frameworks.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with PHP.
- Knowledge of unit testing practices.
- Experience using Git and familiarity with Gitflow workflows.
- Proficiency with command line tools, including shell scripting.
