Company Overview: We are a growing ecommerce business operating multiple online retail sites in the USA and Canada. We are looking for a skilled Social Media Manager to join our team remotely from Ukraine. This is a full-time position that requires dedication, creativity, and consistent work performance aligned with North American business hours.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience managing social media platforms for ecommerce businesses.
- Experience with paid advertising on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Google Ads.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Knowledge of ecommerce trends, SEO, and content marketing strategies.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.
- Creativity in developing engaging, on-brand content.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Work conditions:
- Employment Type: Full-time, remote position.
Work Hours:
- Align with North American business hours (Eastern Standard Time or Central Time).
- 8-hour workday, Monday to Friday. Flexibility in start/end time, provided work overlaps at least 4 hours with team hours.
Tools Provided:
- Company will provide access to all required software and tools.
- Reliable internet connection is mandatory, with backup provisions for uninterrupted work.
Monitoring & Accountability:
- Daily check-ins via video call or messaging platforms (e.g., Slack, Zoom).
- Task management and progress reporting through designated tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Weekly performance reviews and feedback sessions.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary, paid monthly in USD.
- Paid time off: 10 vacation days annually, with an additional 5 sick days.
- Paid Ukrainian public holidays.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy Development:
- Plan and execute social media strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Identify target audience preferences and develop campaigns accordingly.
Content Creation & Creative Collaboration:
- Develop engaging content for all social media platforms, maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual style.
- Work closely with the company’s designers to create high-quality graphics, videos, and multimedia content.
- Provide creative briefs and direction to designers as needed to ensure timely delivery of assets.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with the Customer Service (CSR), Design, and SEO teams to align social media activities with broader business objectives.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency and timely execution of campaigns.
Community Management:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner.
- Engage with followers to build strong relationships and foster brand loyalty.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and strategies.
Advertising Campaigns:
- Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Monitor ad budgets and performance, ensuring alignment with goals.
Market Research & Trends:
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and algorithms.
- Research competitors to identify opportunities and improve strategies.
