Purpose and Scope:
The FinOps Accountant is responsible for daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and annually recurring accounting activities and assigned to one or multiple of Atlas Professionals entities.
The FinOps Accountant ensures a timely, complete, and accurate input of accounting data, using the Atlas Professionals platforms and Excel.
Organisational relationships:
The FinOps Accountant reports to the Head of Accounting or directly to a delegated Finance Team Lead.
As FinOps Accountant you will join the Atlas Professionals Fin Hub. A team of dedicated accounting specialists. Getting their energy and motivation from accounting and finance activities. The team is supported by hybrid working. Atlas Professionals utilize the platform and systems Workday (ERP), Filelinx (OCR), and Microsoft Excel.
Essential Activities and Tasks
Create of Supplier Invoices (OCR & Workday)
Create Intercompany Customer Invoices (Workday)
Bank Statement Reconciliation (Workday)
Record Customer Payments
Create Settlement Runs (Supplier Payments)
Ad Hoc Bank Transactions (Manual Journals)
Create Excel conversions and upload (Payroll Journals)
Any other required tasks not mentioned here above
Support and maintain a backup structure
Job Requirements:
Education & Training:
Accounting degree (preferably)
A qualification in a relevant administrative subject or the ability to perform at this level by experience
B. Knowledge & Experience:
Ability to understand system- and underlaying processes
Working knowledge of English
Knowledge and understanding of financial accounting (not a must)
Able to read and understand documents and contracts relating to the accounts department (not a must)
