As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of safety within our operations.
Position Overview:
The Safety Manager will oversee all safety-related functions within the organization, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as our internal safety protocols. This role is critical in fostering a safety-first culture, conducting regular training, and implementing strategies to minimize accidents and maximize operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and policies in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace and on the road.
- Lead driver safety training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing refresher courses for current employees.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, accident reports, and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Work closely with management, HR, and the operations team to promote a safety-first culture across all departments.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest safety regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure the company remains compliant and proactive.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of drivers through safety scores, reports, and direct feedback.
- Advise management on safety-related issues and offer solutions to improve overall safety performance.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2−5 years of experience in safety management, preferably within the transportation or trucking industry.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and other federal/state safety regulations.
- Proven ability to develop and lead safety training programs for a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
