Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Ukraine, Odesa

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team in Ukraine. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the efficient operation of IT services at the agency level. This role involves addressing local IT issues, supporting agency processes through technology, and collaborating with the global IT team to maintain alignment with MSC’s global IT standards. This position reports directly to the IT Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide timely and effective IT support to agency staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of IT systems.

2. System and Hardware Management:
- Assist in managing IT inventory, ensuring that all hardware and software are documented and up-to-date.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.

3. Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with local and corporate IT policies and procedures.
- Monitor system security measures and assist in implementing cybersecurity best practices.

4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with the global IT team to ensure alignment with MSC’s IT strategies and objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication between the agency and external IT vendors when needed.
- Collaborate with business analysts to support the development of local IT solutions and tools.
- Assist in optimizing local business processes through technology enhancements.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL) are advantageous.
- Proven experience in IT support or a related role, preferably in a multinational or agency setting.
- Proficiency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with Microsoft O365 products
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Will be an advantage:
- Power BI, ETL, PowerQuery, PowerPlatform
- Basics understanding of databases
- Networks
- Basics of web development such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience in any programming language.
