This role is His Majesty’s Government’s (HMG's) senior representative in western Ukraine, based at the British Embassy Office Lviv and reporting to the Deputy Head of Mission, with significant representational responsibilities. Western Ukraine is a growing hub for investment in defence, education and innovation and the British Embassy Office will be a springboard for increased UK impact in these areas. In addition to delivering against the Country Plan and the vision for the 100 Year Partnership between the UK and Ukraine, the British Embassy Office Lviv will provide a support location to BE Kyiv in a range of scenarios.
This role will be based in Lviv, with frequent trips to Kyiv.

Leadership and Representational duties (50%)
Political (25%)
Trade and Investment (10%)
Programme (5%)
Management (10%)
This is a full-time permanent contract, for 40 working hours per week including 1 hour per day for lunch.
