About CUAMM:
CUAMM is an international NGO committed to supporting accessible and equitative health care through international cooperation and humanitarian intervention projects. The NGO is working in ukraine since May 2022 where we implement activities of logistical support to health facilities in the oblast interested by active conflict, capacity building for health workers and Civil Society Organisations and other kind of humanitarian aid for the civilian population
The Role: Logistics Expert
Objectives:
Helping to provide timely and qualified medical and humanitarian assistance to the victims of the conflict in Ukraine through the proper implementation of procedures for purchasing and distributing medicines, basic equipment, vehicle management and transport.
Expected Results
- Implemented and enforced correct purchase procedures, compiled market and supplier analysis and supported the implementation team managing warehouses, vehicles and logistics of activities.

2. Manage contacts with stakeholders and suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of goods and proper quality of items purchased
3. Ensured the travel of project staff by maintaining and operating the vehicle assigned to the project or organising movement plans
4. Overview and enforce security protocol during field trips under the supervision of the security focal point
Requirements:
Qualification:
Diploma in logistics or similar, completed at least three years ago.
Degree of knowledge of foreign languages:
Good level of English, both written and spoken.
Degree of experience in cooperation interventions, in particular emergency interventions in developing countries or other countries that are potential beneficiaries of such interventions:
At least two years of field experience in a similar position employed by NGOs
Previous experience in security management is a significant asset
Work conditions:
The Job will be based in Kyiv in CUAMM Office but can be required to moving around the country for monitoring evaluation on the on-going project
Responsibilities:
In relation to achieving the expected results, the logistician co-ordinates with the Project Manager and the administrator.
In particular, the figure is responsible for carrying out the following tasks:
- Responsible for all procurement activities, he/she will strictly follow all rules as described in the project management manual and Ukrainian regulations;
- It elaborates the procurement plan and procurement files according to the donor’s procedures.
- It monitors that all customs procedures in the case of imported products or materials are followed;
- Facilitates and organises all transports of both goods and people
- Carry out a weekly check on the progress of the procurement plan.
- It monitors the correct preparation of procurement and rehabilitation files.
- It distributes the materials and equipment provided. Responsible for all activities relating to the driving and management of the project vehicle (s); Monitors the good maintenance of all vehicles from an administrative point of view (insurance, tax stamps etc.) and from a technical point of view (periodic inspections, compulsory technical inspections etc.);
- Monitors the correct use of the logbook of the vehicle (s) assigned to the project.
- Supervise drivers in vehicle management Defines problems and hypothesises operational solutions
- In connection with the project’s accounting and reporting activities, the figure is responsible for collecting data on the procurement of goods, services and works.
