We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee/Junior Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with foundational experience in Ukrainian accounting to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recording and maintaining financial transactions.
- Calculate, prepare, and send invoices to customers.
- Monitor the financial terms of contracts with customers.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding debts.
- Assist in processing refunds to clients.
- Count hours worked by contractors and prepare payment calculations.
- Process payments to contractors accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and employee data.
- Assist in calculating and verifying payroll amounts, including deductions and bonuses.
- Assist in preparing and organizing payroll-related documentation.
- Assist in generating payroll reports and summaries for government and management.
- Participate in payroll process improvement projects.
- Communicate payroll-related information to employees effectively.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with financial reporting.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in Ukrainian accounting.
- Proficiency in using accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Stripe, and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher (both written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
